Dove Real Beauty Campaign

This campaign launched by Dove was based on research that showed only 4% of women around the world think of themselves as beautiful. The company, whose average target is the female gender, conducted different kinds of  "experiments" to try to reformulate the beauty standards and to increase confidence and self-esteem in women. I think the enormous success of this campaign was due to making use of a controversial issue and the thought provoking experiments conducted, having significant media coverage.

  1. "Beauty is a state of mind" - I really like this slogan. What an extraordinary experiment! Just imagine if we really could buy a patch to improve our self-esteem!
